In 1905 Albert Einstein published a paper named ‘ON THE ELECTRODYNAMICS OF MOVING BODIES’ in which he proposed the Theory of Relativity – The special one. As the title suggests – its a theory about moving bodies,particularly how the motion is PERCEIVED differently for different observers.
It’s quite natural that movement have to takes place somewhere during sometime. So,it is also the theory connecting Space and time.
In short, it’s about how Space and time is perceived by different observers In different manners.
You may wonder, what does electrodynamics have to do wth the motion of a body. The key to that question is the light. Light plays an important role in the formalization of relativity,in fact light becomes the basis of Special Relativity. But light is an electromagnetic wave. Electrodynamics deals with electromagnetic radiations. Hence the title.
It’s a matter of fact that, Galileo created the first Relativity theory. Later it got modified and reused by many including Newton. But the mystery behind the secrets of Light exams a major drawback for their theories,Which is what explained perfectly in Einstein’s paper,I mentioned at the beginning.
